The reconstruction of street lighting is planned in Tuva that will help to increase energy efficiency. The Minister of Tuva Roman Kazhin-oola said that the Ministry intended to implement the project on reconstruction of lighting in conjunction with the City of Kyzyl. To date the town possesses 5000 lighting devices - the incandescent bulbs from 200 to 450 W. Kyzyl town council pays annually 10.9 million rubles for street lighting to the power industry representatives. Energy-saving lamps, unlike incandescent lamps have the power of 50-70 W. It will reduce the cost of up to 2 million rubles a year. The savings will be spent on lighting system upgrade.
